Nasal Allergy Relief
Nasal allergy relief comes with a lot of different ways. Nasal spray for allergies might be one of the most common allergy relief products. However, for nasal allergy treatment, easy come, not so easy go. Simply by nasal spray allergies would not be gone easily. As a matter of fact, the same is true to any other types of allergies. If you want it to be controlled, the proper allergy treatment and remedy is needed in the first place.
What are nasal allergies?
Nasal allergy, also known as allergic rhinitis, is one kind of allergic nasal mucous membrane disease and can cause many complications. The nasal allergy symptoms are mainly nasal itching, sneezing and runny nose, which is usually caused by inhalation of allergen.
Nasal allergies are commonly seen among adolescents. According to a recent survey at home and abroad, as many as 10% and 20% of young children suffering from perennial rhinitis, among which most of them are nasal allergies. In addition, about 75% of the asthmatic children are also suffering the same torments. There are no differences between genders. Instead, the pathogenesis and incidence of nasal allergy are closely related to genetic factors, environmental factors and exposure to relevant allergens.
Nasal allergy symptoms
1. Red itchy eyes and running tears;
2. Nasal itching, too much nasal discharge and most are water, or heavy thick mucus when infected;
3. Stuffy nose and stuffy ears;
4. Sneezing (often suddenly and severely);
5. Dark circles under the eyes due to rubbing of the eyes very often;
6. Breathing through mouth;
7. Dizziness and headache;
8. Children often rub the nose.
All of the above are the typical nasal allergy symptoms. The allergy symptoms might slightly vary from person to person. Similarly, patients with perennial rhinitis might also suffer from regular seasonal onset. Some nasal allergies patients may be accompanied by nasal polyps, asthma, snoring and other symptoms.
The causes of nasal allergy
The causes of allergic rhinitis mainly come from as follows:
Genetic related
Not everyone will suffer from nasal allergies. Those with so-called allergic constitution are prone to this disease. And allergic constitution is believed to be closely related to genes, namely usually caused by genetic.
Inhaled allergens
The culprit of seasonal allergy is most likely the pollen. For more information, please refer to pollen allergy relief. For perennial rhinitis sufferers, the allergens are dust, mold, feathers or fur of animals and so on. See also mold allergy relief and cat allergy relief.
Ingestion of allergens
Compared to adults, more children are allergic to common food. Compared to cooked food, raw food is more likely to cause allergies. Common food allergens include milk, eggs, fish and prawn, beans, certain drugs like sulfonamides, and antibiotics and so on.
Exposure to allergen
This type of allergies is mainly caused by direct contact with human skin, such as cosmetics, soap, fresh paint, glue and the like.
Bacterial antigens
This type of allergies comes from those elements that cause bacterial infection, such as bacteria and viruses.
Pharmacy antigen
This type of allergies is derived from injection or oral medicine, such as penicillin and sulfonamide drug.
Nasal allergy relief
For nasal allergy relief, there is a lot of medicine available out there. And if you would like to give it a try to natural allergy relief or homeopathic allergy relief remedies, acupuncture for allergies and herbal allergy relief can be a good idea.
Then here comes the question: Can nasal allergy be cured?
And I try to come up with my personal opinions as follows.
1). both allergic rhinitis and allergic asthma belong to allergic diseases. According to the viewpoint from current medical academy, they can not be cured, but they can be effectively controlled by drug therapy. For asthma treatment, please also refer to allergy asthma relief.
2). the best allergy relief medication is staying away from allergens as possible as you could. For instance, if you are allergic to fish, which will lead to body itching and red rash, you’d better not eat them any more. Otherwise, the anti-allergic drugs such as chlorpheniramine can only give you more than just temporary allergies relief.
3). It is an effective nasal allergy treatment if you can find out the allergen via allergy testing and then take the corresponding desensitization therapy. Unfortunately, not all patients with allergic rhinitis and allergic asthma are lucky enough to find out the allergen. Therefore, even if allergy test showing negative can not rule out the possibility of allergies.
4). currently, in terms of nasal allergy relief, there is no reliable evidence that surgery, laser, and microwave therapy can cure nasal allergies. However, if it is accompanied by nasal polyps and sinus allergy, it makes sense for surgery. For allergy and sinus relief, please also refer to natural sinus relief.
5). as for nasal and sinus allergy relief, every doctor has their own experience and understanding.
To sum it up, there’s no easy way out when it comes to nasal allergy relief but it can be controlled effectively if treated properly.
